About Renmin Shimbun

Renmin Shimbun is a volunteer-based website reporting on Chinese and Japanese business, politics and culture. In addition it displays what is going on at the Asian Studies Programme at Copenhagen Business School.

The Renmin Shimbun is run by ASP students for ASP students, and the editorial line is to show all aspects of the course from relaxed social events to tough programme-altering decisions.

  1. Hey there,

I am a student from Stanford U, and happened to come cross your website. I would like to learn more and subscribe, but your subscription link is broken. Is that possible to subscribe in another way?

    Thx,

    Sue

  2. Hi Sue,

Thanks for your interest in Renmin Shimbun – and sorry for the late answer. For now, unfortunately, it is not possible to subscribe as the function – as you’ve found out yourself – doesn’t work properly with the website. We are, however, working on it. When I started working on the website a few month ago I – together with the rest of the editorial staff – brought forward a few ideas on how to change the website (software, design, content, etc.). Thus the plan is to implement all these changes by the beginning of next term, that’ll be after the summer holidays. Until then, please feel free to add the Asian Studies Programme Culture Club group on Facebook, which is updated on a regularly basis with, among other things, teasers from Renmin Shimbun. The group is called “ASP Culture Club/Talk Night” and is an open group.

    Best wishes

    - Jannick
