Back to School
A new semester has started, and the ASP students are getting their electronic dictionaries out again. After a long summer holiday, the Renmin Shimbun is back to give you exciting new articles from the Asian Studies Programme students.
The ASP has launched a new programme, so it will be exciting to see what the students starting their first year of the bachelor will think of this new arrangement. More about this in the next issue of the Renmin Shimbun.
We will be focusing on posing more academic articles and papers and projects written by the ASP students for classes or exams this fall, and hopefully we will get a good mix of articles covering many different aspects of Asian culture that you will find interesting. Of course we will also continue writing our other articles with exciting hot topics like music, movies, trends, fashion etc.
In this months issue you can read about homeless people in Japan by Maja Yhman, Sakarias Ericsson’s thoughts and expectations about going to Shanghai for 2 months and Sasja Christensen’s article about young Chinese with money.
We are always happy to receive feedback, so please send an email to us (sija08ac@student.cbs.dk) or post a comment here if you have any suggestions for improvements, any wishes etc.
We would also like to inform you that we are having some problems uploading new pictures, and therefore many of the pictures in the articles this month are archive pictures. We are working on this problem, and will upload the correct pictures as soon as possible.
Happy reading!
