St. Valentine started a new semester
Important note: This is not the korean girl who went crazy to AQUA
The ASP semester-start party went down February 21st at Bikuben Dormitory. Same place as last, only this time with the twist of a Valentine’s and even though no Cupid-outfit was worn, there was no doubt – love was in the air. In accordance to the Valentine/semester-start theme, there were little red hearts on the walls, happy people all around, and tequila in abundance, so even though the weather was cold and snowy outside it was getting hot inside.
Bikuben’s party room didn’t just welcome the usual suspects this night; Korean and Japanese (yeah, the real thing) showed up as well. This spiced things up, of course, and also caused a few unforgettable moments. Like the girl dancing around to the sound of her favorite song. “Not too special”, you might think, but when the girl is Korean and the song is “Barbie Girl”, it’s suddenly very memorable. Simply nothing beats Aqua at a party – that is, except tequila (pun intended).

ero uno, Ricky Martin. And the crowd went wild – it was hot, it was dirty, it was pure Ricky.
Contesting with star for “Hottest guy of the night”-award were the two daring bartenders. In an amazing stunt for female attention, first the pants went off, and then scissors got to work, resulting in what can only be described as alternative underwear. How successful this was in actually getting some (attention), only they know.
But one thing remains sure – combining Latin lovin’, bubblegum pop, and pant less bartenders make for a great party. Love was certainly in the air.
